R&J Earns an American Graphic Design Award for Branding Annual Wyndham Worldwide Event
R&J has been awarded an American Graphic Design Award from Graphic Design USA (GDUSA) Magazine for its branding of Wyndham Worldwide’s Global Town Hall event. Working closely with the global hospitality giant’s marketing unit, R&J’s creative team conceived each aspect of the multi-media campaign to represent the Wyndham brand, establishing a sense of brand unity, which resonated in every aspect of the event and in each piece of collateral for the company-wide event.
“We’re thrilled to be recognized by Graphic Design USA for the exceptional work that we delivered, helping to make Wyndham Worldwide’s 2017 Global Town Hall a rousing success,” said Steve Guberman, VP of Creative and Digital Services at R&J. “Our team worked closely with the Wyndham corporate communications team to carefully plan out, design and custom-fabricate every touchpoint of the event, using clean lines and minimalist design to stay true to the Wyndham brand while capturing the town hall’s overarching theme of ‘Forward.’”
The R&J creative team designed a broad range of completely customized materials that blanketed the event space to immerse attendees in the event theme. These included an outdoor flag, door clings and banners, gobo and color-themed lighting throughout, lobby mural and lighting, breakfast signage, cups and napkins. R&J also produced a video that highlighted the event’s theme. Each piece reflected the Wyndham brand while also creating a cohesive brand environment, effectively providing attendees with a strong sense of Wyndham’s event objectives and overall vision for the company.
