R&J Promotes Maria Bayas to Digital Account Strategist
We are pleased to announce the promotion of Maria Bayas to Digital Account Strategist. In her new role at the agency, Bayas will continue to build upon the digital marketing strategies she has developed by identifying opportunities tailored to the needs of the agency’s clients and providing strategic guidance to advance client goals. With her in-depth understanding of the digital marketplace, Bayas will position clients’ digital content in the channels most conducive to achieving maximum engagement with their audiences. She will also work with clients to implement digital strategies that align with their marketing objectives and integrate with the agency’s PR and creative teams.
Since joining R&J in January 2016 as a Public Relations Intern, Bayas became drawn to the opportunities presented by digital marketing and transitioned to the Digital team in September 2017. Her exemplary creative work, content creation and community management skills secured her the title of Account Coordinator where she achieved remarkable success growing the digital and social media presence for the agency and clients across various industry areas. Bayas will continue to play an integral role in implementing digital marketing expertise to the agency’s growing number of high-profile consumer product accounts, commercial real estate and investment, B2B and non-profit organizations.
“In less than a year, Maria has demonstrated a consistent display of commitment to and aptitude for advancing our clients’ social media and digital marketing efforts,” said Tim Gerdes, Director of Digital Services. “Her creative instincts and understanding of how our current digital environment works with other communication disciplines will enable her to continue to successfully assist our growing client base. We have no doubts that she will continue to go above and beyond in contributing to the agency and our clients.”
A resident of South Brunswick, NJ, Bayas graduated from Rutgers Business School in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and minor in Art History. She previously interned at the Rutgers University Career Services office as a Marketing Assistant and was the Director of Rutgers University Programming Association where she planned and executed events on campus.
